Mountain Dog Breeds

Appenzeller Sennenhund one of four Swiss mountain dog breeds, was created to labor on farms, herd cattle, and pull heavy carts. Bernese, Entlebucher, and bigger Swiss mountain dogs are others. All four breeds are black, white, and tan.

Bernese Mountain Dog The Bernese, the largest Swiss mountain dog, is long-coated. The Berne farm dog guarded, hauled, and watched. Family-oriented Bernese mountain dogs are clever. Berners defend without harming.
