Rob Gronkowski believes Super Bowl ticket prices are "ridiculous" even for NFL players.

Many people who wanted to attend the Super Bowl 2024 decided against it due to the high cost.

According to CBS News, tickets for the Feb. 11 event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas range in price from $2,000 for face value to $37,000 for last-minute tix on resale site StubHub.

Even some NFL players may struggle to afford to attend in person. Two days before the Big Game, retired football icon Rob "Gronk" Gronkowski spoke with E! News about the exorbitant ticket costs.

"It's pretty ridiculous," the four-time Super Bowl champion stated on February 9 at FanDuel's Super Bowl party, which was sponsored by Spotify.

"If you're playing the game, you're probably losing money, which is ridiculous. I believe this should be changed. I believe NFL players should be better compensated in the playoffs, particularly if they advance to the Super Bowl.

Gronkowski spoke based on previous experience. "I played in the game before where I brought family and friends to the game," the 34-year-old told reporters, "and I actually lost about $20,000 playing the Super Bowl.

"The Kansas City Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 2024. Taylor Swift was spotted in one of the stadium's luxurious suites cheering on the Chiefs with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, the team's top tight end.

Since the two started dating last summer, the Grammy winner has attended several of his games. While many NFL fans have blasted the league and television networks for frequently featuring her on live broadcasts, Gronkowski supported her.
