2 Min Read

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional, such as walnuts or pecans)

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two opposite sides for easy removal.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar.

Mix until well combined.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.

Be careful not to overmix, as it can result in a denser texture.

Fold in the white chocolate chips or chunks and the chopped nuts (if using).

Pour the blondie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown, and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

Once cooled, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the blondies out of the pan.

Place them on a cutting board and cut into squares or rectangles.

Serve and enjoy your delicious homemade blondies!

You can store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
